Walden Freemason's Hall Association played host to the annual meeting of
the Essex 'Provincial Hall Managers' Group.Those present were given a
tour of the newly refurbished building. A very informative lecture followed, from retired Insurance Consultant, W. Bro. Derek Osbourne on the insurance issues for Masonic Buildings. W.Bro. Derek, although not an Essex Mason lives in Saffron Walden and is a regular visitor to our Hall, as well as a Director for the very successful Bateman Street, Masonic Hall in Cambridge. The Hall Association together with their guests then sat down for an enjoyable lunch before returning to more 'civilised' parts of Essex. |
