"Phoenix from the Ashes" - November 2000                       Home

View of the rear of the Hall with the flat part of the new roof covered with zinc and the sloping sections partly slated

View of Robing room showing the new roof trusses covered over with tarpaulins
View showing new timbers in the Robing room that have replaced the old burnt sections
View at ceiling height of the Robing room. Note the shape of the internal structure and beams. The main horizontal beams will be exposed and plaster board fixed to the trusses, thereby doing away with the old uneven false ceiling.
The pitches of the new roof can clearly be seen from this angle, but from the street view the slated part is all that can be seen which is very much in keeping with other properties close by.
View east - showing the zinc covered flat section of the new roof. Note the roof light which will give a small amount of natural light to the new LOI room.
View from new LOI room showing the skylight.
The new LOI room starts to take shape
View of the new LOI room looking west. Note the opening on the left where the access staircase will terminate.  The insulation of the walls and ceiling has just begun with many inches of rock wool/fibre glass being placed between the joists.
View from the head of the existing staircase showing the opening to be used for the access staircase to the LOI room
View of the Temple - looking south east.
Note   (1) The wall battens in place ready for the oak paneling
(2) The dais which will extend the whole
 width of the temple.
View from the Dining room looking south.

Note - A strengthening column which has had to be put into place following safety guidance through the Architects
