View of new scaffolding erected by Sindall refurbishing contractor as seen from Church Street

View of rear of hall as seen from The Saffron Hotel courtyard
View from head of stairs at first floor level
View of the Temple looking east from the head of the Stairs - First Floor level
View -  East wall in the Temple
View - west wall, Ladder giving access to roof structure.
Door to the robing room can be seen to the left and underneath of the ladder
View north east showing the steelwork put in place to hold the roof trusses

(Note the church is also scaffolded up)
View north east - the steelwork was delivered the last Sunday of September 2000.

The road had to be closed off to allow delivery of the steelwork and access for the crane to lift the very substantial girders into place
View south - The third storey of the old Magistrates Court can be seen in the background.

It is envisaged that the new roof trusses will allow an additional storey in the roof space. This would possibly give us an LOI room, a great enhancement to our previous facilities.
View north - the roof of the robing room can be seen in the top left corner.

I'm told the steelwork now in position is within a tolerance of  2mm of being level at anyone point (when measured with a laser level).

The roof trusses are being delivered the first Sunday in October when again the road will be closed.
