Busy Week in Saffron Walden for Essex Provincial Officers     Home

Two very important presentations were carried out at the December 2001 meeting of Walden Lodge. 

The Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W.Bro. Peter Holland , on behalf of the Province, presented a 50 year Membership Certificate to W.Bro C.D. Allen along with a personal letter of congratulations from the Provincial Grand Master, Rt. W. Bro. Col.  Sir Neil Thorne OBE, TD, DL.
W.Bro. Allen gave a suitable reply together with some fond memories of present and past members he had had the privilege of serving with.

The Provincial Grand Secretary, W.Bro. K.A. Harvey, presented a Confirmation Centenary Warrant to replace the original that was lost in the 1999 fire.
W.Bro. Ken, in his excellent presentation, made reference to his admiration for all Saffron Walden based Masons who had stuck together in difficult circumstances over the last two years. He added that their patience had obviously been duly rewarded now they are meeting in the magnificent re-built Hall.
