'The Making Parts'

Demonstration 28th January 2005

Walden Lodge Demonstration Team are again rehearsing 'The Making Parts' (The Making of an  Apprentice).

A reconstruction of a first degree ceremony as it would have been carried out during the18th century.  The ceremony, in the costume of the period, takes place in an upper room of the Three Tuns and Bulls Head Public House, Cheapside, London during 1733.

It is hoped that this demonstration will re-create the convivial social atmosphere, the sincere ceremony  and  the lecture style instruction, which made the 18th century lodges unique.

The performance will be given at the Meridian Lodge No 9542, The Priory, Huntingdon, Cambs on Friday 28th January 2005 at 11.00am.
